Hello everyone, if you may or may not know, I am very proficient with redstone. I have helped my friend build countless machines in another server, one of which, a vending machine, was created in survival mode. I have made piston doors, traps, a bank, a rock paper scissors game, and many more machines. Me and my friend have been conversing for a long time now and we have finally decided to make a computer. Now when you think of a computer, you're thinking of the thing you're on right now, but that won't necessarily be the case for this computer. Basically its a calculator, it can make adding subracting multiplying and division computations. For most of our machines we used our brains to make the project, and we are going to try to do that for this project, but it probably won't be too easy so we might need references during our building. We will try to not use someone else's schematic, but rather build our own schematic of different components needed for the computer. We can't give an exact estimate of how long this is going to take, but it will be quite a while. Stay tuned and I will be giving you updates, and then, when it is done, a grand tour! If I had the patience I would do it on the zxc server, but i also would need space, resources, blaw blaw blaw blawwww and it would probably increase my time by 50% or even 100% to complete it. Sooo after that lengthy description and what not... I am left with nothing to say! Guess i should get back to studying...

Basically, you're creating an ALU then, right? Just as a tip, you may want to stick to simple ALU operations. Multiplication and division are much more difficult than addition and subtraction. Even the control logic for a simple computer will probably be less than the multiplication/division units. I guess the problem with doing control logic is the fact that you won't get more than a few bytes of memory, which won't be more than a few instructions. |

yeah, basically it is an ALU, we were deciding if we really wanted to make multiplication and division, or just keep it as adding and subtracting |

I sometimes host a creative server, I could keep it up and u guys can do it on there. u guys might want to go to a hidden area to do it though. |
